When I make this strawberry sugar, I use freeze-dried strawberries. They crumble very easily into a fine powder that mixes well with the sugar. If you don’t have a food processor, try adding the strawberries to a ziplock bag (get out as much air as possible) and try crushing with a rolling pin. Or try using a coffee grinder.
Can you buy strawberry sugar already pre-made at the store? Yes, of course you can, but why would you want to buy it when you can make it exactly how you want it in the comfort of your own home.

Is this sugar recipe vegan? Did you know that most granulated sugar is not vegan? Most sugar companies run their white sugar through bone char to get that white color that it’s known for.
