Burger Bites Recipe Ingredients
Here are the basic ingredients needed to make burger bites. Check out the recipe card at the bottom of this blog post.
- Cheese. I like to use sharp cheddar cheese for that classic burger flavor, but you can use any cheese you like American cheese, pepper jack cheese, Monterey Jack, mozzarella or gouda.
- Ground Beef: Get a good quality lean ground beef, you want to use 90/10.
- Seasoning: We just need a few seasonings to make these mini meatballs taste great. Add in some salt, freshly ground black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Garlic: I love using fresh garlic in meatballs, but you could use 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Toppings: I use dill pickle slices, lettuce, and grape tomatoes (or cherry tomatoes).
For the Secret Sauce
These easy appetizers are completed with a delicious burger sauce. It is definitely optional but also delicious.
- Mayonnaise: This forms the base of the sauce.
- Relish: I love to use dill relish, but if you prefer sweet relish you can use that also unless you are trying to make these keto.
- Ketchup: Use your favorite brand.
- Garlic Powder: Gives the sauce a slight garlic flavor.
- Black Pepper: I love to use fresh cracked black pepper for best flavor.
