Chick-fil-A Sauce Copycat Recipe!!

We are HUGE Chick-fil-A fans! While Chick-fil-A is known for their juicy, delectable chicken, my family thinks their dipping sauce is out of this world amazing (and also, so is their lemonade, yum). You know the sauce I’m talking about…that creamy, golden sauce that is the perfect consistency for that waffle fry (or any fries, really).

I crave Chick-fil-A sauce! And it turns out, this famous sauce is actually just made out of a few different sauces blended together. So I just knew I had to try to mimic it so that I can have it at home anytime I want.

Now I don’t have to beg them (embarrassing) for boat loads of those little, rectangular packages. I can now make and eat as much as I want!

My daughter (the condiment queen) likes to dip her finger right in this sauce and eat it. Guess you don’t even need a food to deliver the goodness to your mouth. Unbelievably, my son likes it even more than his sister.

When I make this sauce at home, we can eat it on anything and everything!! I made a list below of ways my family likes to eat it. It is great on burgers, burritos, tacos, and most definitely fries. Check out the list for even more ideas and list your ideas in the comments below.

What Does Chick-fil-A Sauce Taste Like?

If you have never had it, Chick-fil-A’s sauce tastes like a cross between honey mustard and barbecue sauce with a splash of tanginess. It’s finger lickin’ good (just ask my daughter lol). Chick fil a sauces recipe will become your new favorite sauce to put on everything.

Copycat Chick-fil-A Sauce Ingredients

This sauce comes together with just a handful of ingredients. See the recipe card below for exact measurements.

  • Mayonnaise: Full-fat or low-fat regular mayonnaise.
  • Mustard: Just plain, yellow mustard.
  • Barbecue Sauce: I use a plain flavored BBQ sauce, not one that has been doctored with other flavors (aka mesquite or hickory). I used Sweet Baby Rays because I think it makes the sauce taste more like Chick-fil-A’s, but if you have one that you love you can use that instead.
  • Honey: I like using local honey.
  • Vinegar: I used apple cider vinegar in this recipe. If you don’t have it, you can try to using distilled white vinegar. You can also try using 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.
