Apple Snickers Salad
This Apple Snickers Salad is the kind of “salad” that feels more like a treat. Crisp, tart Granny Smith apples and chunks of chewy Snickers candy bars get folded into a fluffy vanilla pudding and homemade whipped cream mixture, then finished with a drizzle of caramel sauce. Every bite is sweet, creamy, and crunchy, with plenty of chocolate, caramel, and peanut goodness. Whether you’re bringing it to a potluck or sharing it with family, don’t be surprised when everyone goes back for another scoop!

- 3 large Granny Smith apples
- 4-5 1.86 ounce Snickers candy bars
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3.4 ounce package instant vanilla pudding
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 cup cold heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon caramel sauce for drizzling
On a cutting board, cut the Snickers in half length-wise, then into small pieces.
Wash and core apples. Cut into bite-sized pieces and put into a large bowl. Pour the lemon juice over the apples and stir.
Add the cut up Snickers to the apples. You can reserve some apples and snickers to the side for topping the salad once it’s assembled.
In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the pudding with the milk.
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, pour in the heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Whisk over high speed until stiff peaks form, about 8-10 minutes.
Very gently fold about ⅓ of the pudding mixture at a time into the whipped cream until fully combined.
Add the whipped cream mixture to the apples. Top with reserved apples and Snicker pieces.
Serve salad immediately. The salad is best eaten on the day it is made.
- If you would like the salad to have more longevity, remove the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanillla and replace it with cool whip.
- Save some toppings. Set aside a handful of chopped apples and Snickers before mixing everything together. Scatter them over the finished salad and drizzle with caramel sauce for a pretty finishing touch.
- Add chopped peanuts to the assembled salad.
- Leftover salad will last for 1 day in an airtight container in the fridge.
