Air Fryer Frittata
This Air Fryer Frittata makes an egg-cellent, protein-rich breakfast recipe that is healthy and simple. Made with diced ham, fresh green onions, and some gooey cheese, it's ready in under 20 minutes.

- 5 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon heavy whipping cream or whole milk
- 1/2 cup ham diced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 1/4 cup petite tomatoes about 8 cherry or grape, halved
- 1/4 cup green onions about 2 small, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat the air fryer to 360°F for 4 minutes.
Use cooking spray or a good layer of butter on an 8-inch cake pan, or other 8-inch dish that fits in your air fryer. Keep in mind that what you cook the frittata in (size and material) will affect the cooking time, it may need more or less time.
In a medium bowl, briskly whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until fluffy.
Mix in the ham, cheese, tomatoes, green onions, salt, and black pepper.
Pour the egg mixture into the greased pan and carefully place into the pre-heated air fryer basket.
Cook for 1 minute, then open the air fryer and stir the mixture.
Close the air fryer and cook for another 5 minutes. Open the air fryer and wrap the top of the pan with a small sheet of aluminum foil to keep the top from getting too brown (I use heat resistant gloves).
Close the air fryer and cook for 8-9 more minutes until the egg is cooked through and the center is set.
Let the frittata rest for a couple minutes and then serve. Garnish with sour cream, hot sauce, chopped green onion and tomatoes, if desired.
