Ingredients

  • 4 cups spinach loosely packed
  • 1 banana
  • 2 apples small
  • 1/2 - 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 - 2 cups frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions

  • Prepare all of your ingredients. Wash your produce, core and slice the apple, peel the banana and juice the lime.
  • Put all of the ingredients into the blender in the following order: spinach, banana, apple, pineapple, lime juice, and water. Add ice in last.
  • Blend until smooth (using the tamper as needed) and enjoy.

Notes

  • Store smoothies in the refrigerator overnight for an already prepared breakfast or a grab and go snack (smoothies are best consumed within 24 hours).
  • Make sure to place ingredients in your blender from the softest to the hardest.
  • Add 1/2 cup of water at a time till you reach your desired consistency. You can add less or more depending on the thickness you want for your smoothie. We like ours a little thinner for easier drinkability.
