Caprese Salad Skewers

These Caprese Salad Skewers are the perfect appetizer. Tomato, basil, and mozzarella come together in one quick bite. Delicious and assemble in just minutes!

Ingredients

  • 10 oz grape or cherry tomoatoes
  • 8 oz mozzarella balls
  • 12 basil leaves
  • olive oil for drizzling
  • balsamic glaze or balsamic vinegar for drizzling
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Using a 3-inch long toothpick, poke through a small tomato, a small leaf of basil, and small ball of mozzarella cheese.
  • Continue making skewers until all of the ingredients are gone.
  • Top the completed skewers with extra-virgin olive oil, balsamic reduction or balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. 

Notes

  • Use store-bought balsamic glaze/reduction instead of using making your own to save time.
  • This recipe makes around 12 skewers.
  • Skewers should last 4-5 days in the refrigerator.
